Vet Day for Darcy!

After being away in Wisconsin, it was time for wellness check at the Roanoke Animal Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC.  Pictured is Anne Widell, RVT, Dr. Riddick Ricks, Ben, and somewhere in the picture is Darcy!

Welcome Home Darcy!!

So happy to see our Golden boy Darcy!  Many thanks to Deb Seline with Pemberley Retrievers for making this possible!  (pic at RDU Airport)

After leaving RDU Airport we went a few miles up the road and met up with Beth Berstein with Honey Lake Goldens and with Cheryl Brier who also has Goldens.  Wonderful people who all enjoy Goldens! A little get together "Welcome Home Darcy" party was in order!

Darcy Is Coming Home!!!!!

So excited ...Darcy is coming home!  Deb Seline w/Pemberley Retrievers will be flying with him in the morning. I can not thank her enough for taking the time to get him to me for it is required that someone flies with him with the airlines.  But first he was groomed and had to go see the vet for a health certificate. He looks beautiful !!  So this pic is of them in route to MKE airport! 

Update on Bredon!

Good news!  Bredon's leg has healed nicely and is off the couch and retrieving! Do you think he is driven? :-)

One happy Golden to be back working! Go Bredon!!

Already got that bumper and heading back to the line! So glad to see him doing what he loves to do most....retrieve!

Darcy is Successful Again!!

He did it again!!  Another successful competition!  It is now time for Darcy to come home to NC!

Another Quilt Completed!!

This quilt is for Ben.  Rather than just making any quilt, I opted to make it a little more personal with our Golden's pictures transferred onto fabric

This is a closeup of the embroidered center block with our Golden's.  If you look closely you can see the quilting designs are stars.  Perfect choice for our boys are "stars".

And then there is Bredon.......

As Darcy is "hard at work", Bredon has been relaxing and watching TV as his leg heals.
